Jungle checklist and printing notes

Jungle expanded the early English card pool beyond Base Set and introduced a separate expansion symbol that helps identify the release.

Some Jungle holo cards are known without the Jungle set symbol. Those no-symbol copies should be compared as repeatable printing differences rather than confused with symbol loss caused by damage.

  • ✓Confirm the Jungle expansion symbol and collector number.
  • ✓Compare holo and non-holo checklist entries instead of relying on artwork alone.
  • ✓For a suspected no-symbol holo, inspect a clear scan and compare multiple authenticated examples.
  • ✓Record First Edition and Unlimited status separately from holofoil and error status.

Collector notes

  • •A master-set scope should state whether it includes both holo and non-holo entries and recognized no-symbol error printings.
  • •Minor ink weakness, scratches, or foil wear do not automatically create a no-symbol error version.
